“Cultured Marble” is a man-made composite material, created by blending crushed natural marble dust with resins and pigments, then casting it in molds and coating it with a clear gel-gloss finish. This gives a durable, shiny finish, mimicking real marble at a lower cost for applications like countertops, sinks, shower pans and shower surrounds. It's non-porous, easy to clean, and customizable in color, but differs from natural stone by often featuring integrated sinks and flat, uniform undersides.
